   I purchased this product for the Viewsonic G-Tablet. I had a few difficulties getting the keyboard to work (due to my own technology inadequacies). I emailed customer service and they were excellent to work with. They made suggestions on how to verify that it was working property and even followed up with me when I got busy and didn’t respond to their email. They were great to work with and I did get the keyboard working in no time!

   The seller had better revise their description of this vinyl case. I’ve never seen “leather” that smelled just like vinyl. But does it work? Well, yes. But there’s something odd about slipping a modern, techo-marvel tablet into this case that looks like something designed right out of the ’70′s. Looks aside, it is a handy way to carry around and add keyboard functionality to a tablet. There is definitely a niche market for a company that could do this with more style.

   The case seems to be well-made; I do not have a problem with it being faux leather. The keyboard worked for me right off the bat. The USB cable is a little short for the location of the port on the Viewsonic gTablet so it sits across the bottom left corner of the screen. No adapter is needed; just move the cover located on the left side of the gTablet. The kickstand on the back is nice, is sturdy enough to support the tablet well, and has a magnetic catch so that it doesn’t flop around on the case. I did have to adjust the side tabs to hold the tablet more securely. The tablet does slip around inside the case primarily because there is no tab located on the top of the tablet; I believe the intention was for the magnetic latch to hold it in but it doesn’t do a good job of that. Stylus included is a silly plastic stylus but the gTablet requires a capacitive stylus so it does not work. All in all, probably the best option available for the gTablet if you want a keyboard as well.
