   This is one of the best devices out there for iPad 2. The rotating case allows me to use the iPad in vertical or horizontal positions, although for me, I use horizontal position most of the time. The sticks use to keep the iPad in position is a genius idea. The iPad really stays in position and doesn’t fall easily. The keyboard is hard and has a better feel of a real keyboard, than the soft silicone based keyboard which I have bought and returned. It responds to key strokes instantly. It has 2 shift keys – which again is missing from the silicone keyboard. This is the only device I feel that can turn the iPad into a notebook when it’s necessary while still keeping the “cool” factor of an iPad – not to say that is important. It is an excellent device with a relatively small price tag.

   I have been searching for a case with keyboard for some time. I finally pulled the trigger on this one after watching it for a while. I was a little bit nervous after ordering it as this is a relatively new product and does not have many reviews. However, I am very happy after receiving it as it didn’t disappoint. There are a few reasons I went to this case. The keyboard is the biggest consideration. The case is less of a concern for me as long as it does not look ugly and protects the iPad. A friend of mine has a case with silicone keyboard. Somehow I didn’t like the feel of the soft keyboard. My friend actually didn’t care. There aren’t many options out there with a hard keyboard. The price is middle to lower of the range. I can probably get a case/keyboard combo for a cheaper price, but these have 2-3 star rating. How do I like the product? Very much and I definitely want to share my thoughts. Obviously like most product reviews done by a consumer, my review will be more or less my personal feelings – nothing scientific or systematic. The following are the areas I like: 1. The keyboard has two shift keys and with many iPad specific “shortcut” keys such as those control the media play, screen brightness and so on. You don’t get the “shortcut” keys from the virtual keyboard. It provides great convenience and is absolutely a thoughtful design. 2. The keyboard size is decent for my hands. My Lenovo laptop’s keyboard size is 12″ and this keyboard is 8.25″. My hands are not big. So it works well for me. However, for those with big hands, I feel the best option is to use the virtual keyboard because there are far less keys. To be fair, the iPad 2 width is smaller than 9.5″. It’s just impossible to have a keyboard that exceeds that dimension. All the physical keyboards have jammed in far more keys than the virtual keyboard. 3. The keyboard is removable. I saw a review complaining the product comes with two pieces. The keyboard is meant to be removable and sticks to the case using Velcro sticks. There’s nothing wrong there and it doesn’t bother me. 4. The keys feel very responsive. I have decent typing speed and it’s able to keep up. I did miss-type occasionally in the beginning due to the fact I was still adjusting to the keyboard. However, I got better along the way. The key layout (the numbers and letters) is identical to a regular keyboard by the way, which is a plus. 5. The case is easy to work with. The iPad can be snapped in easily. The horizontal position is very stable. The vertical position is a little bit suspicious – I don’t care though as when I am typing, I want to use a position that’s natural. For those that do care, I would suggest look elsewhere. But honestly, most other case/keyboard combos don’t even allow the vertical position. It’s hard to justify the importance of the vertical position. 6. The case looks very stylish. No complaints there. It’s not genuine leather, as the title suggests. Frankly I can’t tell any difference unless two cases with genuine leather and PU leather are together side by side. The review is getting long . What don’t I like the product? I wish the keyboard is bigger, even though not realistic. The keyboard seems to be a little too thick. The magnetic strip that turns off the iPad when closed is not working all the time, but it’s not an advertised feature. So I guess I can’t fault the manufacturer/seller and it’s not a feature that’s important to me. I guess I am nitpicking here. For the price, it’s a fantastic piece of work. Lastly, forgive my poor writing as English is not my native language.

   After 2 other products that arrived and the keys did not work as well as another product where the on/off switch broke off when I used it (D-Lux removable bluetooth keyboard for $79.99), this was perfect! Besides being everything that it advertised, here are some advantages pointed out to all you searching: 1) Keys are NOT silicone 2) on/off button is not on the side where you have to use your fingernail to turn on and is sturdy and protected on the keyboard 3) 2 shift keys 4) nice silicone key cover to protect your ipad screen (wish it stayed on a bit better) 5) without the keyboard, the case itself is just as slim as me using my smart cover and a protective shield on the back of my iPad, AND the cover ACTS AS A SMART COVER and shuts the iPad off – this was NOT advertised and was a HUGE BONUS! 6) with the keyboard in the back or middle of the case, you can still close the case and use the strap and it still acts as a Smart Cover 7) Keyboard is very small and slim, I am ok with using this, but not sure my husband would be able to type on it (but it isn’t for him anyway)! 8)Love the swivel option of using the iPad 9) Price is 1/2 of the others I was looking at which were much larger and did not act as a Smart Cover (obviously something I was not looking forward to when using this type of case) 10) It shipped to me very quickly and EVERYTHING WORKED!!!!!
